Recap - 2nd AUEB Statistical Data Science & Economics Conference

Data, ideas and people, once again, came together in Aegina!
A few days full of Statistics, Data Science, and exchange of ideas and new connections, on the 2nd AUEB Statistical Data Science & Economics Conference, which took place on 31 August–2 September 2026 in Aegina, Greece, bringing together researchers and experts to exchange ideas at the intersection of Statistics, Data Science and Economics.

From econometrics, Bayesian methods and time series to machine learning, AI and financial analytics, the three-day programme combined Short Courses, Research Presentations and a Poster Session, in a unique island setting.

The Conference was Jointly organized by the Department of Statistics, Athens University of Economics and Business, the Department of Economics, AUEB, and the Department of International and European Economic Studies, Athens University of Economics & Business.
