EY Open AI & Data Challenge

Let the EY AI & Data Challenge 2026 begin!
What if a global competition could utilize AI for good? How can AI and data can help millions of people by predicting water quality ? Join this year’s EY AI & Data Challenge and make an impact, while gaining valuable skills.
Who can participate
If you are, a university student, a recent graduate, a PhD student, or an early career professional with up to 5 years of work experience, then you can sign up for this challenge!

| The details
Phase 1 | January 20th – March 13th
At the 1st phase of the challenge, you will be asked to develop a machine learning and AI model, by using data from various databases, correlating water quality parameters with local environmental conditions.
Here, submissions will be evaluated and only the top-scored ones will move on to the next phase.
Phase 2 | April 1st – April 19th
Now, the finalists should develop a practical “content package”, explaining how their idea can roll out as a solution, describing how the model could be applied by local beneficiaries and explaining their vision for enhanced datasets and model optimization.
The judging panel will review the deliverables and select this year’s winners!
| Eyes on the prize
The top-3 AI & Data Challenge finalists will win cash prizes and will be invited to the dedicated Global Awards Ceremony on May 6th!
