    About the Programme

    The Department of Statistics, Athens University of Economics and Business, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science, launches the new English-taught postgraduate programme: “M.Sc. in Sports Analytics”.

    The programme has been approved by the Senates of AUEB and NKUA and is currently pending accreditation by ΕΘΑΕΕ (the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education). The programme is expected to begin in October 2026.

    Applications for expressions of interest are now open.

    Programme Features

    • Tuition fees: €8,000
    • Distance learning (live streaming lectures)
    • In-person examinations, with optional on-campus workshops and supplementary lectures
    • Full-time and part-time study options
    • Two study tracks:
      • Sport Data Science: intended for graduates with strong quantitative backgrounds, including: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, and Finance.
      • Applied Sports Analytics: intended primarily for graduates in Sport Science and applicants interested in applied analytics approaches.
    • Taught in English
    • Opportunity to participate in Double Degree Programmes:
      • Digital Sports (Digisport Graduate School, University of Rennes 2, France)
      • Statistical Science for Decisions (University of Naples, Italy)
    • ERASMUS dissertation opportunities abroad
    • Internship opportunities alongside the dissertation
