24th Summer School of the Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics

Τhe Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business is supporting the organization of the 24th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics, which will take place on the island of Ios at the Gaitis–Simossi Museum from July 7 to 11, 2026, with the additional support of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE).

This summer school will bring together approximately 180 advanced PhD students and faculty members from Greece and abroad specializing in Economic Theory and Econometrics.

Among the distinguished participants attending this year's conference are Simon Anderson (University of Virginia), Javier Bianchi (Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis), Olivier Coibion (University of Texas at Austin), Russell Cooper (Liaoning University and the European University Institute), Eugenio Miravete (University of Texas at Austin), Andrea Prat (Columbia University), Matthew Rabin (Harvard University), Sergio Rebelo (Northwestern University), Hélène Rey (London Business School), Patrick Rey (Toulouse School of Economics), Enrico Spolaore (Tufts University), Pedro Teles (Banco de Portugal and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics), as well as Myrto Kalouptsidi (Harvard University), Stelios Michalopoulos (Brown University), Stavros Panageas (UCLA), Elias Papaioannou (London Business School), and Evi Pappa (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid).
