    The Internship Program offered by the Department of Economics gives third to sixth year students the opportunity to work in companies, organizations and banks in the Attica region, as well as other parts of the country.

    The Internship Program is important because:

    • It is the first opportunity for a student to acquire work experience related to his/her degree.
    • It prepares the student for entry into the labor market and familiarizes him/her with the prevailing market conditions.
    • It helps the students who take part in the program to enrich their CVs for future employment purposes.
    • It often leads to employment as companies which are satisfied with the students’ performance may choose to extend the collaboration.
