Alexandros Katraouzos
I graduated from the Department of Operational Research and Marketing in 1997 with an in-depth understanding of concepts such as vision, strategy, added value, customer orientation, human resources, cost-benefit analysis, market liquidity. These were the key words that, combined with the international experience I gained as an Erasmus student in Austria and through the Leonardo internship program in Spain, paved the way for the transformation of the company I run (from an importing-trading to a producing-exporting one) with a presence in 20 countries today. Judging not only by my personal experience but also by the illustrious careers of my fellow students, both within Greece and abroad, I consider studying in the Department of Marketing and Communication to be a great choice that promotes three important concepts that continue to be in short supply in our country: entrepreneurship, corporate mindset and an extrovert attitude.
