It is of one year duration (2 semesters) and consists of the following two modules:

b. Teaching competence. It consists ,for the two semesters, of the lessons "Practical Teaching" PAD I (winter semester) and "Practical Teaching" PAD II (spring semester). The courses are analyzed in a network of theoretical, practical and experiential teaching activities with increasing difficulty in real school environments.

ATTENTION : Attendance in the course "Practical Exercise in Teaching I and II" (Practical Training I & ii) in conjunction with the course "Specific Teaching of the subject" is compulsory with the participation of the students in educational activities within and outside AUEB which take place at different times and days beyond of the day and time of the lesson appearing at AUEB's schedule (Friday 9-3).
In the remaining courses of the Program, attendance is required and evaluated in order for the prospective teacher to cultivate the necessary background for theoretical knowledge and competence.
A key criterion and success factor of both the Program and any future educator is love for education and young people. These virtues as well as other anthropocentric values are sought to be cultivated through innovative experiential adult education methods.
