Event in honor of Prof. Nikolaos Christodoulakis and Prof. Anastasios Xepapadeas
The Department of International and European Economic Studies, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) organized on Friday, May 6, 2022 the scientific event on the effects of Climate Change on the Economy and the prospects of the European Economy, in honor of Professors Nikolaos Christodoulakis and Anastasios Xepapadeas.
The opening speeches were given by the Rector of the Athens University of Economics and Business Professor Dimitrios Bourantonis, the Dean of the School of Economic Sciences Professor Thomas Moutos, the Professor of Economics at the AUEB and President of Eurobank Georgios Zanias.
In the conference participated renowned scientists from Greece and abroad, who referred to the remarkable academic career of the honored Professors, while presenting original scientific works during the two sessions of the event.
The morning session, in honor of Prof. Nikolaos Christodoulakis, with the participation of Professors George Doukidis, Elias Tzavalis, Vassilis Sarantides, George Pagoulatos, Apostolis Philippopoulos, Spyros Skouras, Panos Tsakloglou and Kevin Featherstone. The session was moderated by Prof. George Economides.
The afternoon session, in honor of Prof. Anastasios Xepapadeas, with the participation of Professors Aart de Zeeuw and Elettra Agliardi (Keynote speakers), George Economides, George Zanias, Fabio Antoniou, Athanasios Yannacopoulos, and virtual, Efthymia Kyriakopoulou, Eftihios Sartzetakis, Partha Dasgupta, Simon Levin, W.A. Brock, Bretschger Lucas, David Zilberman, Ian Bateman. The session was moderated by Prof. Phoebe Koundouri.
