"The Teacher Education Program was one of the most meaningful and unforgettable experiences of my university years. It gave me the opportunity to approach education from an academic perspective, deepen my understanding of different pedagogical methods and discover how knowledge can be transformed into creative activities with a real impact. At the same time, the Program created an incredible connection among students from different academic departments, each bringing their own experiences and ways of thinking. Through our shared assignments, activities and moments together, we did not only gain knowledge; we also created memories and friendships that will stay with us for years. What stood out to me the most was working with children and having the opportunity to share what we had learned with them. We experienced what the future of teaching could look like: more creative, participatory and human, with children having a voice and an active role in their own learning. As Célestin Freinet wrote, “We prepare the democracy of tomorrow through democracy at school.” The Teacher Education Program offered me a great deal, both academically and personally. It helped me grow, see education from a different perspective and understand that teaching is not simply about transferring knowledge. It is about inspiring another person and helping them believe more strongly in themselves."
