Transnational Access (TNA)
In the context of the ATRIUM project’s Transnational Access (TNA) scheme, the UNESCO Chair on Digital Methods for the Humanities and Social Sciences offers Individual Access to expert knowledge, mentorship, and tools for researchers from institutions in EU Member States and Associated States.
Do you have a research project in mind? Are you eager to learn from us? Through the Individual Access travel grants, you can design your own research stay. Your travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs will be fully funded by the TNA scheme.
The UNESCO Chair on Digital Methods for the Humanities and Social Sciences provides mentoring and a supportive environment for experimentation with advanced digital methods in the humanities. Specifically, the Chair offers workshops and welcomes residencies focused on the following areas:
- Ontology-driven information modeling
- Knowledge organization and knowledge graphs
- Collaborative spatio-temporal annotation
- Multimodal information extraction
- 3D photogrammetry and visualization
Residents are introduced to workflows and tools developed, adopted, or refined by Chair members. They can contribute to ongoing projects or bring their own data, subject to compatibility requirements.
