Director’s Mandate of Dr Agiatis Benardou Renewed by the DARIAH-EU General Assembly

The DARIAH-EU General Assembly has unanimously renewed the mandate of Dr Agiatis Benardou as Director of DARIAH-EU, extending her term until the end of 2028.

Warm congratulations to our team member Dr Agiatis Benardou (AUEB, ATHENA RC & DARIAH-EU) on the unanimous renewal of her term as Director of DARIAH-EU.

The decision was taken during the 29th General Assembly of DARIAH-EU, held at the Cyprus Institute and online on Wednesday, 19 November 2025. Dr Benardou has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2023 and currently serves as President of the DARIAH-EU Board of Directors. Her renewed mandate reflects the Assembly’s confidence in her vision and her longstanding dedication and commitment to the DARIAH-EU community.
