Teaching Excellence Awards 2024-2025

For the seventh consecutive year, on March 18, 2026, the Awards Ceremony for Excellence in Teaching for the academic year 2024-2025 was held in the "Eleftherios Venizelos" Ceremonial Hall of the Athens University of Economics and Business, together with the awards ceremony honoring the children of members of the University Community who were admitted to Higher Education in the academic year 2025-2026.

In the emblematic hall of the "Marasleio Megaro", which has housed the Athens University of Economics and Business for more than a century, the award-winning professors and the children of members of the academic community who had crossed the threshold into higher education gathered for the occasion. In an emotional atmosphere, they received their awards and commemorative gifts from the University’s Rectorate Authorities, in recognition of their efforts and achievements.

From the School of Business, the following were honored:

Sergios Dimitriadis, Professor in the Department of Marketing and Communication

Diomidis Spinellis, Professor in the Department of Management Science and Technology

Sandra Cohen, Professor in the Department of Business Administration

Dimitrios Tsouknidis, Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance

In addition, the AUEB Award for Excellence in Teaching for members of the Laboratory Teaching Staff and Special Educational Staff was awarded to Mr. Dimitrios Lymperopoulos from the Department of Marketing and Communication.
