Global recognition for 12 scientists of AUEB

On October 4, 2023, the list of the world's top (top 2%) scientists in their fields for 2023 was published by Stanford University. The list is formed based on the publications of the specific scientists, which are most often cited by other authors globally based on standardized cross-reference indices

Indicative of the constant commitment of the Athens University of Economics and Business in the search for research excellence is the fact that 12 AUEB faculty members are included in this list. Specifically, the Professors mentioned in the list are: Spinellis Diomedis, Karlis Dimitris, Xepapadeas Anastasios, Tarantilis Christos, Koutsopoulos Iordanis, Emmanuel Kavousanos, Gritzalis Dimitrios, Syris Vassilios, Toumbis Stavros, Polyzos Georgios, Lappas Theodoros and Kalogeraki Vana.
