Teacher: The support of the dreamy student!

The project is a synthesis of two basic elements:

it consists of two hands made of solid materials, which simulate the teacher's hands "embracing" and lead the student to the acquisition of his knowledge and dreams and a painting depicting a student sitting on many books and looking at it moon in the night sky, which consists of many stars that reflect the goals and dreams he wants to conquer.

The books are paralleled with the supplies and knowledge that the student acquires with the support of the teacher, while the teacher's hands are the ones that elevate the student to knowledge, spiritual balance and completion.

In our painting, the child goes up to the books and approaches the sky, as the child improves and develops cognitively and as a personality, through the guidance and help of the teacher.

The teacher with imagination, empathy, originality, critical eye and interest in the child's personality, studies and analyzes the behaviour, diversity or learning abilities of each and adapts his/her teaching accordingly.

One of our sources of inspiration was the film "The Teacher Who Let the Children Dream" (2006) by Daniel Losset. The script of the film is based on the life of the great French pioneer educator and educational reformer Celestine Frenet (1896-1966).
