The 2nd Stakeholders Workshop for the Attica Region in the framework of the Climate Impetus project took part online.
It was a successful, highly participatory workshop with a variety of stakeholders contributing to a series of live structured questions focusing on water scarcity matters of the region, while at the same time commenting on the various answers and results of interactive exercises.
On 19th of September 2024, Ms. Lydia Papadaki (Researcher, AUEB; ATHENA RC) presented the results of a paper with the title: Catalysing Business Transformation: Leading Sustainable Development via Research Collaboration and Course Development" that was developed under the CATALYSTErasmus+ project at the 12th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development (ICSD) at the No. 6A session entitled “Mission-oriented research to accelerate SDG solutions”.
Between Tuesday, October 6th, and Thursday, October 10th, 2024 , DiverSea partners gathered in Athens, hosted by Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon (NKUA) for the Annual Meeting. Over fifty participants from all 19 institutes in the consortium, along with other collaborators, shared insights from the first year of the project. DiverSea is an EU-funded Horizon project with an approximate budget of €9.7 million. Through seven work packages, the project will synthesize multiple research streams into a workflow that develops and refines new DNA-based monitoring technologies, integrates diverse types of data from emerging sources, and visualizes this data through a cutting-edge dashboard to facilitate its integration into policy and planning.
On the 28th and 29th of November took place at the transformative workshop “CATALYST CoVes and impact on socioeconomic development”, in Graz, Austria, providing participants with a unique opportunity to delve into the realm of thriving.
