CV: Thanasis Androutsos is a Lecturer in the Education and Training Program. He teaches courses in Introduction to Computers - Pedagogical Applications in Education and Special Teaching of Informatics. His research focuses on Educational Technology, Economics of Technology, Computer Networks, and Information Systems. He holds a degree in Computer Science and also has postgraduate specializations in Information Systems Management and Economics from the Departments of Computer Science and Economics at the University of Athens. In 2009, he was awarded a Doctorate from the University of Athens in Network Economics.

CV: Chrysostomos Kapetis provides instructional support at the Department of Informatics, University of Athens (UA), in the courses "Analysis and Design of Information Systems" and "Databases". For several years, he served as the computerization manager of the Library of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where he also acted as an assistant supervisor. He led the computerization efforts of the AUEB Library, automating its catalog and implementing a bibliographic database management system. Subsequently, he significantly contributed to the design and implementation of the integrated library information system. He has extensive experience in designing and developing information systems and has provided significant services in computerizing numerous libraries of public organizations such as the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic, the Konstantinos Karamanlis Foundation, etc. His research interests focus on the cognitive subject of databases and information retrieval. Diakonikolaou Kyriakos

CV: Kyriakos Diakonikolaou is an Electrical and Computer Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens (1991) with an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester (1992). He is a certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, PSM II, SPS) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I, PSPO II). Since 2009, he has worked as a Scrum Master and Product Owner on large information systems in the private sector and public administration. Since 2017, he has been teaching Scrum and Agile to private and public organizations and has taken on the role of agile coach in many startups and technology companies. He is responsible for Agile Coaching (https://agilecoaching.gr) and the ScrumAware blog (https://www.scrumaware.com).

Dr. Kechagia Maria

Research Fellow (University College London (UCL))

CV: Maria is a  Research Fellow at the CREST research centre, and a member of the SOLAR research group, of the Department of Computer Science at University College London (UCL), in the UK. Her research supervisors are Professor Federica Sarro and Professor Mark Harman. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), in the Netherlands, and a member of SERG, under the supervision of Dr. Georgios Gousios and Professor Arie van Deursen. She finished her PhD in Software Engineering in the Department of Management Science and Technology, at the Athens University of Economics and Business, in Greece, under the supervision of Professor Diomidis Spinellis. Before that, she pursued my MSc in Computing (Software Engineering) at Imperial College London, in the UK. She received her BSc degree in Management Science and Technology from the Department of Management Science and Technology, of the Athens University of Economics and Business, in Greece.

Dr. Koniakou Vasiliki

Core Course: Cybersecurity and Data Privacy

CV: Vasiliki holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the National Kapodestrian University of Athens, and a Master’s Degree in International, European and Comparative Law, majoring in Law and Information Society from the Faculty of Law of the University of Tuku (Finland). In 2021 she completed her Doctoral Studies, funded by the Academy of Finland. Presently, she holds the position of a post-doctoral researcher at the ISTLab of the Athens University of Economics and Business (Department of Department of Management Science and Technology). Additionally, she serves as the head of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) management at the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the Athens University of Economics and Business. Since 2019 she also acts as the Data Protection Officer of the Athens Centre of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. 

Ioannis Kontopoulos

Senior Research Associate at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens

Core Course: Mobile programming (Kotlin for Android & Swift for IOS)

CV: Ioannis received his BSc from the department of Informatics and Telematics of Harokopio University of Athens in 2016 and completed his PhDat the same department in 2022. His PhD revolved around machine learning techniques in spatio-temporal data, distributed and real-time processing. Currently, he is a Senior Research Associate at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. His major research interests revolve around Distributed Systems, Big Data analysis and processing, real-time stream processing, spatio-temporal and trajectory analysis, and machine learning. He has been involved in several EU and national funded projects including Datacron (H2020), MASTER (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020), Smartship (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020) and GLASSEAS (OP Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning).

Associate Prof. Korfiatis Nikolaos

Associate Professor of Business Analytics in Norwich Business School (NBS) of University Of East Anglia (Wea)

CV: Nikolaos Korfiatis is an Associate Professor in Business Analytics at Norwich Business School (NBS) and member of the Innovation Technology and Operations Management (ITOM) group. he is also an associated faculty at the Centre of Competition Policy (CCP). Before joining NBS, he worked as Senior Researcher at the Chair for Databases and Information Systems at the Department of Informatics of the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. He co-founded together with Professor Roberto Zicari the Big Data Laboratory of the Goethe University (www.bigdata.uni-frankfurt.de) and he acted as a Director for Analytics and Data Science. Before joining Goethe University Assocaite Prof. Nikolaos Korfiatis worked as an Assistant Research Professor (Post.doc) at the Department of Economics of the University of Copenhagen doing research in Experimental Economics and IT. He completed hie PhD in 2009 at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Denmark under the supervision of Prof. Volker Mahnke and he holds an MSc in Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm with specialization in Information Retrieval (2006). He completed his undergraduate studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business (2004) and he has so far lived and worked in 5 different countries (Greece, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and UK).

Associate Professor Dimitrios Mitropoulos

CV: Dimitris Mitropoulos is an Assistant Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and leads the Reliability Engineering Directorate of the Greek National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET). Previously, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Computer Science Department of Columbia University. Dimitris holds a PhD in Software Security from the Athens University of Economics and Business and has been involved in several EU and US funded R&D projects. His research interests include software engineering and computer security. He is a member of ACM, IEEE and USENIX.

CV: Dr. Dimitris Papakyriakopoulos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of West Attica, specializing in Management Information Systems. He holds a degree in Computer Science, a Master's in Information Systems from the Department of Computer Science, and a PhD from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has worked on European projects as a researcher, business consultant, and special advisor to the Ministry of Administrative Reform. He has published in scientific conferences and renowned journals such as Decision Support Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, Industrial Management and Data Systems, Electronic Markets, among others.
