Educational Laboratory of School of Economics (EconLAb)

Students in the Interdepartmental Master’s Programme in Finance and Banking have access to the Educational Laboratory of School of Economics (EconLAb), which is equipped with specialized software and databases which help not only in teaching the subject areas of finance and banking but also in the statistical processing and analysis of data with a complete series of statistical, mathematical and econometric packages and applications, such as: EView, STATA, R, MATLAB, SQL, SPSS, GAMS.

Students also have direct access to and practice in a number of databases, such as Bloomberg and Reuters Eikon / DataStream. In addition, several educational seminars on the usage of databases and software are organized in the laboratory’s premises at no extra cost, such as seminars in R, SQL, Bloomberg and PYTHON.

The educational Laboratory EconLAb ois housed in AUEB’s Postgraduate Studies and Research Building, located at 47A Evelpidon & 33 Lefkados Streets, 6^th floor, Room 610.
