Cooperation agreement of the AUEB Informatics Department in the framework of the Teacher Education Program
A particularly important international agreement was signed in May 2016 between the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business, which offers the AUEB Teacher Education Program, and the Department of Humanities and Social Science Education του Stockholm University, Sweden, which is among the top 100 universities in the world. It is a collaboration that covers the areas of education and training, as well as educational research. The purpose of this agreement is mutual scientific interaction, educational exchanges, research cooperation, and other forms of cooperation in the sciences of education.
This is another important agreement of the Curriculum of Teacher Education Program, which promotes excellence in these sciences at European level in collaboration with three top universities in the Nordic countries (University of Oslo, Stockholm University, and Aalto University, Helsinki).
The initiative for the signing of the above agreement was led by Dr. Vassiliki Brinia, university scholar of the Department of Informatics, in collaboration with the Program Supervisor, Professor Theodoros Apostolopoulos.
