The Program

The Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program of Public Policy and Public Management (Government Gazette 148/16-7-2008, 1757/25.8.2009, 3071/27.07.2018, and 3465/13.09.2019) organized by the Departments of Economics, International and European Economic Studies and Management Science and Technology, aims to cover the educational needs of the executives in the broader public sector and non-governmental organizations. It expresses the commitment and the aspiration of the Athens University of Economics and Business to develop a high quality post graduate program combining its know-how in matters of economics with management. The respective postgraduate programs available in Greece do not fulfil these needs, which makes the role of this new program particularly important. It is characteristic that there is a multitude of this type of programs in the USA and in Europe.

This is a part time program, founded in September 2010. A group of interesting common modules has been formulated, as well as modules which differentiate the two different directions of the program.

The faculty of the program includes professors with international standing, from the Athens University of Economics and Business and other universities.

According to the international ranking Eduniversal Best Masters Rankings, the MSc in Public Policy & Public Management has been ranked 7th in Western Europe in the field “Public Administration / Management” for 2022. See the ranking list here
