The first roundtable in Greece on “New Skills, Education and Strategies for Sustainable Development in a Circular Economy: Challenges and Prospects in Greece” was successfully held on December 2,  2022, at the Hypatia Mansion, in Athens, co-organized by Sporos Circular Solutions, the Athens University of Economics and Business, and CreThiDev,  in the framework of the international project CATALYST “Challenges and Prospects in the Operation of Sustainable Systems and Business Transformation”.

Through an interactive process, with the participation of distinguished representatives of the business world, academia as well as public and local government bodies, the first steps were taken to establish a critical dialogue between business, education and policy actors, with the aim of first mapping the ongoing challenges and the perspectives on the need for business transformation and skills building on sustainability.

The exchange of views between the participants showed that there is a clear need to integrate new knowledge-based skills in the field of sustainability and operational management.
