Aim

The Program aims to educate and train economists with high ability and standards in the fields of Economic Theory and Policy, as well as Econometrics.

The goal is the preparation of students:

→Either for a Ph.D. with a view towards a career in:

• Universities as faculty members
• International and Greek research institutes and organizations
• Central Banks
• Research Departments of commercial banks

→Or for careers as senior executives in the private and public sectors, such as in:

• Large private companies
• Public authorities
• Ministries
• Banks
