MAIA EU Project’s Second Strategy Meeting in Bilbao
On April 22nd, in Bilbao, the MAIA EU project took a significant stride forward as partners convened for the second Strategy Meeting. This gathering served as a platform to reflect upon the achievements and milestones of the first 18 months of the MAIA journey. The meeting was a testament to a collaborative effort, as partners came together to summarize accomplishments and explore pathways for the dissemination of MAIA resources, focusing on the tools and services developed throughout the project. In a dynamic exchange of ideas, participants delved into strategies to maximize the reach and impact of MAIA’s offerings.
One of the focal points of discussion was the incorporation of MAIA Ambassadors into the dissemination process. These ambassadors, poised at the intersection of innovation and community engagement, hold the key to unlocking broader accessibility and relevance for MAIA initiatives. The Sustainable Development Unit of ATHENA Research Center leads Work Package 1 on the activation of the MAIA community. During the Strategy Meeting, Dr. Kostas Dellis represented our team, and we presented the way forward through the organization of five targeted MAIA workshops, leveraging the work undertaken in these 18 months in collating and mapping the key stakeholders for climate change research and action in Europe.
With renewed vigor and strategic clarity, the MAIA project embarks on its next phase, propelled by the shared commitment of its partners and the vision of a more inclusive and empowered future. Stay tuned as we continue to chart our course towards innovation and impact.
