When I finished my undergraduate studies at the AUEB Department of Economics I decided to apply to the MSc program with specialization in Economic Theory. This decision proved to be critical.

In particular, the curriculum offered by the MSc program in Economic Theory is of a high standard and similar to those offered by MSc programs in Economics in reputable universities abroad. The courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics and Mathematics helped me develop my critical thinking and analytical abilities, and become a better economist in the end.

In addition, I had the opportunity to work at a higher level with the very experienced and skillful in their teaching and research professors of the MSc program. Thus, the high-level curriculum and the help of the department professors led me to initially explore, then pursue, and eventually achieve my acceptance into the Yale Economics PhD program.

Hence, I highly recommend the MSc in Economics program.
