CATALYST 6th Project Meeting & International Event in Wuppertal

From Tuesday 5th until Thursday 7th of October 2024, the 6th project meeting of the CATALYST Project took place in the Start-up Centre der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal, in Wuppertal, Germany. The meeting covered project activities, interim reports, completed deliverables, course quality assurance, and the launch of the CATALYST platform. The program will cover the implementation of the "Enable" component of the CATALYST COVES, the launch schedule, evaluation strategy, monthly topics, and how to pilot specialization programs and applied research projects. The meeting also included an evening activity ("Discovering Wuppertal") and dinner at Rauhaus Wuppertal.

On Wednesday, 6th of October 2024, the official international launch event of the CATALYST innovative educational platform took place at the same location, attracting more than 100 virtual and in-person participants. The platform aims to close the skills gap by providing professionals, entrepreneurs, and students with the essential competencies required to spearhead sustainable business transformation. Prof. Dr. Phoebe Koundouri gave the keynote speech on “Global Perspectives on Sustainability in Continuing Education”, while Lydia Papadaki, PhD c. and researcher in economics, together with Eleni Toli, senior researcher represented Resees, AUEB, participated at the international event and project meeting and had the opportunity to react and reflect in relevance with the participants of other organisations, as well as in relation to the CATALYST centre.
