GNCCT Investment Summit

The Greek-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Technology (GNCCT) in partnership with the Embassy of Nigeria in Athens hosted the 2021 GNCCT Investment Summit that took place on Tuesday, 30th November 2021, in Athens Greece.

The 2021 edition themed “Advancing Investments between Nigeria and Greece” has been attended by key industry players, including policy makers and representatives of the Greek and Nigerian governments, prospective investors, sector experts, and decision-makers.

Prof. Koundouri and Dr. Ebun AKinsete participated at the GNCCT Investment Summit. Prof. Koundouri participated and gave a speech in the session 3: Circular Economy, Waste Management and Manufacturing together with Mr.Konstantinos Skrekas, Minister of Environment and Energy, Mrs.Solape Hammond, Special Assistant to Lagos State Governor on SDG and Dr.Reuben Olorutonba Bamidele, National Programme Officer, Regional Office Hub,UNIDO.

Prof. Phoebe Koundouri and Dr. Ebun Akinsete recently had an audience with the ambassador of Nigeria to Greece, Her Excellency Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe at the Chancery in Athens.

This new collaboration will expand the work of the International Cluster for Sustainability Transition, engaging in knowledge exchange and development focusing in particular on the areas of sustainable development, circular economy, maritime, biodiversity and resilient cities.
