As a country that is renowned for its strong maritime industry, Greece can be considered a “natural” choice for international Maritime Studies and employment in the Maritime Sector. 

Athens and Piraeus constitute an International Maritime Centre with the highest ownership (in tonnage) in the world and hundreds of companies located here. This provides students with the opportunity to have international maritime business studies and at the same time network with the industry. At the end of the taught part of the program, placements with shipping and other companies are available to students of the MSc.

At the same time, Athens is a vibrant metropolis, an amalgamation of culture and maritime entrepreneurial tradition.
